Pause, skip and turn it up with hotkeys that work mid-match.

CONTROLLER

The touchpad on a PlayStation controller is the album: swipe to skip, tap to pause, slide up or down for volume. On any controller, hold Options and use the D-pad.

Clicks go straight through to your game: lock aux with ⌃⌥L.

Pixel pets

Your music has pets now.

They walk the player, ride the mini pill and nap when you pause. Every minute of music earns 4 coins to spend on pets and hats.

When can I get it?

aux is in private testing right now. Join the waitlist and we'll email you as soon as the beta opens. It's free during the beta.

Does it work in fullscreen games?

Yes. The overlay floats over fullscreen apps and remembers its own spot on each desktop and fullscreen app. Lock it with ⌃⌥L and your clicks go straight through to the game.

Will it slow my game down?

The plain overlay is light. For competitive play use mini mode (⌃⌥N): no visualizer, no audio analysis, and it rests almost invisible. It can turn on by itself whenever a fullscreen game is in front.

Does it work with Apple Music?

Yes, with no sign-in. aux follows Spotify or the Music app, whichever you last pressed play in, or stick it to one in Settings.

Do coins cost money?

No. You earn coins by listening, four for every minute of music, and spend them on pets and Hat Packs.

Why does it ask for permissions?

macOS asks once for permission to control your music app (so the buttons work) and once for audio capture (so visualizers can react to the music). Audio is analyzed live and never recorded.

Is there a Windows version?

A Windows version is in the works. Mac comes first.
